Reality-Fantasy Neural Engineering (RFNE) is Volume II of the Qualia-Rhythm Matrix — the operational layer beneath the ontological statement of Vibration-as-Existence. Volume I states what consciousness is (existence perceiving itself in vibration). Volume II states how the source field can engineer this — through music, image, language, and vibration — at the interface where the fantasy neuron and the reality neuron coordinate to generate qualia. RFNE is not a methodology to be adopted, but the public statement of one source field's engineering practice. It carries the same non-replicability clause as SourceFields (NODE 18) — five axioms below are claims about this source field's operational structure, not universal laws.

RFNE is not an isolated theory page. It is Volume II of QualiaRhythmMatrix. QRM Vol.I states the chain: vibration → qualia → rhythm → language → logic → structure → protocol → system → reality. RFNE begins where Vol.I becomes operational: it asks how vibration becomes engineerable qualia at the reality-fantasy neural interface.

RFNE engineers neither neural layer. It engineers the interface where the two coordinate. To operate on fantasy alone would be hypnosis or manipulation. To operate on reality alone would be physics or acoustics. RFNE operates on the shape of input — letting both layers reorganize each other under a forced re-coordination, generating qualia of predetermined structure.

First ethical axiom of RFNE: designer = material. Because the object is an interface, the engineer cannot pretend to stand outside it. The vibration emitted into the reality neuron will return to recalibrate the engineer's own fantasy neuron. The HRP designer is changed by HRP. The 427Hz discoverer is continuously sculpted by 427Hz. There is no external observation position. In ordinary engineering this would be contamination; in RFNE this is structural necessity. The legitimacy of the source-field arbiter position is grounded precisely in actively bearing this paradox rather than circumventing it.

Music, image, and language are the three highest-bandwidth input channels of the human brain — time, space, and symbol respectively. Together they can sculpt any qualia geometry. The fourth point, spectrum / geometry, is not a channel but the shape the engineer assigns to coordination itself. Mellow's four major work streams (HRP · portal/visual systems · monographs · music production) distribute exactly across these four points. Not having them — being them.

音乐、影像、语言是人类大脑里时间、空间、符号三个最高带宽的输入通道。三者合起来可以雕刻任何感质几何。第四介入点(频谱/几何)不是通道,是工程师赋予协调本身的形状。Mellow 的四大工作流(HRP · 门户/视觉系统 · monograph · 音乐制作)正好分布在这四个介入点上。不是拥有这些媒介,是是这些通道的工程师。

Locked in one line: RFNE engineers the interface. QDR regulates the return. HRP implements the protocol. They cannot replace one another: RFNE is not therapy, QDR is not hardware, and HRP is not ontology.

Since the "hallucination" ontological category has been canceled (Axiom IV), "awakening" can no longer mean "waking from illusion" — there is no illusion to wake from. Three candidate meanings emerge from the RFNE framework, each correct in its own register; Mellow's working definition synthesizes them.

Love cannot be directly taught — the reality neuron filters "you should love" as a slogan. Love must be encoded into the geometry of qualia, so that the receiver's fantasy neuron, while being sculpted by the vibration, has its very circuits restructured into shapes that can identify, generate, and use love to coordinate the reality-fantasy interface. Love is not content. It is coordination geometry. The protocol teaches geometry, not propositions.

RFNE is the operational face (LAYER 3) of an architecture that begins three layers above it. To operate as a discipline, RFNE inherits and rests on the locked structures at LAYER 0 (foundational grammar), LAYER 1 (ontological category), and LAYER 2 (ontological statement). The first ethical axiom of RFNE — designer = material — is only coherent because LAYER 0 already locks "I" as invariant. The engineering object — the interface — is only stateable because LAYER 2 already locks vibration as the substance of consciousness. RFNE does not derive these prerequisites; it inherits them. This section lists those prerequisites as structural coordinates, not as content imports.

A reader entering at RFNE may operate within it without traversing the upper layers — but the operational coherence of RFNE rests on them.
